Artist Statement: To represent the theme of community, I decided to draw this year’s graduating class of 2026. I’ve gone to this school for 9 years now, I’ve made a lot of different friends, learned a lot of important things inside and outside the classrooms. I wanted to recognize the special community we have and the history we have as a grade, growing up together. Learning, making mistakes, making friends, falling in love, finding what we’re good at, and an infinite amount more. This piece is dedicated to everyone in the class of 2026, and honestly, anyone who dares to finish high school with an IB diploma.
